Hiit Mama workouts are timed so time yourself and go as FAST AS YOU CAN!! That is how you get the cardio in. If you are a new Hiit Mama, just start with the workout of the day (WOD)...no need to go back to the first post because we will eventually repeat all those workouts. Make sure and post your time in the comment section so you can track your progress! Also, there are video demos of each exercise we do down the right side bar.

Friday 03.25.16

Complete as many reps as possible in 8 minutes of:
3 handstand push-ups (scale as needed)
3 cleans, 20-30 lbs
6 handstand push-ups
3 cleans
9 handstand push-ups
3 cleans
12 handstand push-ups
6 cleans
15 handstand push-ups
6 cleans
18 handstand push-ups
6 cleans
21 handstand push-ups
9 cleans
Etc., adding 3 reps to the handstand push-up each round, and 3 reps to the clean every 3 rounds.

no food after 8:00pm
reduce sugar intake 
no fried food
get 8 hours of sleep
no preservatives
eliminate wheat

I made it to 21/9
I ran hard first but was still winded while doing this .... I don't enjoy 5:15 am workouts at.all. Lol!!

Made up wednesdays wod then did this one.

Complete 21/9 + 12 hspu + 8 cleans
hspu assisted from bench, 20# cleans

Made it through 21 HSPU & 9 cleans, plus 13 of the 24 push ups on the next round
HSPU on 21" barstool
45# cleans

Vs 35# and through 21 push-ups

Warmed up first with crossfit 16.5
40# thrusters

35# thrusters
(We did this on 4/9/15)

Love being able to make gains like this!

Finished with 50 inclined sit ups/arms crossed

Full handstand push-ups for first 3 rounds, pike on feet for next 3 rounds and pike on knees for last set.

First three rounds toes on bench, rest of rounds knees on bench.
30# cleans

Then did the backward version of 3/16 WOD
26:19 (30 seconds faster, strangely enough)
Treadmill at 8.7, 8.2, 7.7, 7.4
